Q: How can I have my own item engraved or lasered?
A: Simply indicate on your item the location to be engraved or lasered; package well and ship insured to our location; enclose the wording or copy as well as any logos or artwork to be engraved/lasered; include also your contact and return shipping information. We will send quote (and questions) for approval, complete your job, and ship back to you.
Q: Can you make custom-sized plates in different finishes?
A: Yes - we carry in stock the 20 most requested metal finishes plus a myriad of plastic and phenolic combinations. Your order is cut to the exact size needed, engraved or lasered, the edge and corners appropriately finished, holes or double adhesive backings added, then polished and packaged.
Q: What is normal production time?
A: For most typical orders, production time (providing that any custom work or artwork is confirmed) runs 5 working days. Certain processes such as metal casting and embedments require a longer lead time. Certain large orders may require additional component parts shipping time to our location. We will confer with you to allow adequate completion and shipping time so that your order arrives several days prior to your event.
Q: Do you provide a "Rush" service?
A: Every day ! - Company policy is to turn around every job as quickly as possible given the constraints of Quality and Quantity. As such, we can readily accommodate "Rush" orders of most types. Certain functions such as special handling and faster shipping help to expedite service but do add somewhat to the cost. Give us your timeframe and schedule your order with us as soon as possible so that when "components" arrive (if not an in-stock item) we are able to immediately begin work.
Q: Do you handle Custom or Commercial work?
A: Absolutely! - Our main function is work custom-tailored to a customer's exact specifications or requirements. We maintain hundreds of "Permanent Files" with precise details of repeat orders - whether they involve engraving, lasering, mounting, fabrication, or any combination thereof. In excess of 80% of our orders have their own unique set of detailed parts and labor particulars. We attend Trade Shows not only in the Awards and Recognition field, but also having to do with Giftware, Promotional, and Technical aspects related to our work. We handle the "Innovative" as well as the "Familiar"!
Q: What are costs to Engrave or Laser my items?
A: Typical flat plate engraving (as for trophies and plaques) requires a $5.00 set-up (per different item) plus $ .30 per letter with a $7.00 minimum per item. Engraving on dimensional items requires a $15. set-up plus $ .70 per letter with a $10. minimum per item. Laser imprint on flat plates requires a $15. set-up plus $ .50 per square inch with a $7.00 minimum. Laser imprinting on dimensional items requires a $35. - $65. set-up plus $1.00 per square inch with a $15. minimum. Logo or artwork setups for engraving run $90. - $150. For Laser imprint, set-up for logos or artwork run $35. - $65. Special and oversize set-ups may cost more. Quoted prices are from PC ready formats that do not require additional work. Art and typesetting charges range from $45. - $65. per hour. We can quote prior to order confirmation once we receive all pertinent art, files, and information from you.
Q: Can you add Logos or Artwork to my order?
A: Absolutely, every day! - Just provide the "Most Original" artwork that you have: PC based black & white images with no gray-scale and as much fine detail as possible (an EPS version of your file (vector) if possible or a high-resolution TIFF or JPEG if the file is not vector based; or file formats Corel Draw .cdr or Adobe Illustrator .ai). Send on a "floppy" disc, on a CD, or as an E-mail attachment. Or, as an alternative, provide a crisp fine-detailed black & white image on paper. We will then convert this to the appropriate format as your order dictates. We can provide in-house art or computer assistance as needed at a reasonable rate. Simply stated, provide us with the best artwork available (as you would provide to a printing service or for an advertisement).
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept prepayment by company check, money order, or cashiers check; or credit card payment by Visa, or Mastercard to be charged when the order is confirmed.
